** Update!**

Yay, we won!

Midas has been shortlisted in two categories for the inaugural Festival Supplier Awards, Best Power and Green Festival Supplier.

“The awards business is a real industry in itself, they keep springing up,” Midas Managing Director, Dave Noble, says. “Typically, we don’t get involved, but while we work across a wide events map, I was impressed with the wholly festival focus of these ones.”

Making the shortlist is a significant achievement for Midas. Both categories are hugely competitive; Green, because it’s such a broad church and Power because there are massive, hugely influential companies under that umbrella. And Noble is delighted to be in the mix at the final fence.

“We’ve built the business up, in terms of equipment and clout, to the point where it’s the exclusive power supplier to any number of high profile events, so it’s fantastic to be recognised by our peer group and to have our work scrutinised by such a well-qualified judging panel.”

The Festival Supplier Awards ceremony takes place at the Showman’s Show, on the evening of Wednesday 22 October.
