Cable & Electrical Distribution Hire

Complete Power Infrastructure

A generator produces the power. Distribution equipment gets it to where it is needed. Without the right cables, boards and connectors between the two, the generator is useless, and an undersized distribution system, incorrectly specified or improperly installed, is a safety risk.

Midas supplies cable and distribution equipment alongside our generator hire fleet. We specify, supply and connect everything needed to get power from the machine to your load, cleanly, safely and to the right standard.

Single and Three Phase Supply

Our distribution equipment supports both single-phase (230V) and three-phase (415V) supply configurations. For most site and event applications, we will specify the appropriate distribution based on the loads you are connecting and the generator output. If you are not sure what you need, let us know what you are powering, and we will work it out.

BS7909 Compliant Systems

For events and entertainment applications, all distribution systems we supply and install meet the requirements of BS7909, the Code of Practice for Temporary Electrical Systems.

Where a BS7909 design certificate is required, we can provide full design, installation and certification. See our BS7909 Design and Installation page for details.

Standalone or Combined Hire

Distribution equipment is available as a standalone hire if you have your own generator on site. For most customers, we supply distribution as part of a complete package alongside the generator and fuel management, everything from one supplier, specified to work together.
