However the art of good power distribution is to optimise the use of each and every Generator, both in size and power output to deliver maximum fuel efficiency and value for money for the client.
The equipment is also available for ‘Dry Hire’.

Designed and built in house the range, style and stock levels are as extensive as they are numerous to satisfy the many and varied demands any particular job may have.
From Flight Cased three phase 400amp Production Boards to the smallest Splitter each item is individually tested before leaving the warehouse and if the job requires a particularly unusual distribution system then the Midas team are happy to design and construct a distribution board to suit, and due to the dynamic nature of the industry, often under some very tight time constraints!
Often used in the Touring Industry for ease of loading.
The Midas range covers Stage / Production Up Standers 400amp > Ploc thru, 3 x 125/3, 3 x 63/3, 3 x 32/3, 2 x 63 single, 3 x 32 single, 9 x 16 single, the range also includes the smaller 125/3 and 63/3 inputs but both still with many distribution options out.
Available in a multitude of variations both in three phase as well as single phase.
The boxes start at 125/3 phase and are available as a mini production board or simply a splitter down through the standard three phase ranges. We also stock single phase variations from 63 single phase down to 32 single phase for final distribution at the extremities of a system.

All boxes are offered with back boards both for ease of use and handling. Whilst this slimmer, lighter option has less opportunities of distribution, the slim line style does offer advantages where space is at a premium.

Site Lighting
Midas stock large quantities of site and utility lighting, from the traditional Flood light to HQIs and Festoon, the range also encompasses Emergency Exit Lights and Fluorescent Strips. Forever mindful of power consumption where possible Midas use low energy or LED lamps. As with other stock items, they can be part of a power solution designed by Midas or alternatively be individually dry hired, please contact us for further details.

Available in various lengths from 25m, 50m and 100m. The options on lamp spacing are 2m and 3m. Also in stock are a large selection of both energy saving and LED lamps.
Both maintained and non maintained options are available, all are presented with a 16amp ceeform plug and socket and mounted on a back board for ease of transportation and use.
5 foot strip lights available with both single and double tube options, all come with 16amp ceeform plug and socket.
Protect valuable electrical cables and hoses and permits compliance with 1996 National Electrical Code Requirements (Article 525) for insulating electrical cables and cords at carnivals, fairs, amusement parks and similar events.
