Numbers were up at the Suffolk Show and the quality of enquiry on the Midas stand was excellent. Several hire contracts were negotiated there and then, with equipment quickly dispatched. In one case, the day after the show finished.
“There were numerous location visits for prospective clients as well and a schedule of works is in place that will see all orders completed by the end of the year,” Midas’ Managing Director, Dave Noble, says.
“It was really interesting too, to note how many people at the show were asking about standby/back-up gen sets to cover for main supply failure. A large number of inquiries were for Midas to provide a turnkey solution, not only supplying the generator but also the electrical connections in the form of auto transfer switches and so on. The agricultural market is becoming an increasingly important part of our business and we will definitely be back at the Suffolk Show next year.”
