Yes, it really was that muddy….
Midas have been associated with Mark and the gang at “Trees” since its inception back in 2006 but thought a special mention worthy after all battled through some sensational weather conditions to deliver another stunning event.
Even the battled scarred Midas team of Techy Craig, Big Frank and Little Al unanimously declared that they couldn’t remember a wetter gig and kept there spirits up by building make shift dams around the gen sets to keep the worst of the floods at bay. Even Midas director Dave Noble was to be found on site for the get out but rumour has it he soon retreated to one of the site telehandlers and directed operations from there!!!
Huge respect goes to Mark and his team, and all the other contractors who pulled together in the face of adversity and to the thousands that turned up and partied without a care in the world.
