It’s all relative to the electrical demand placed upon the system. On a traditional compound set up on a building site for example, electrical demand is higher during the colder months as the occupants are making use of the heaters etc within the cabin. Generator running times therefore are greater, but a reduction in generator running times of 50% are still common.
